Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the NFCLink Android app handles information. NFCLink is designed as a local-first NFC and digital business-card workspace. Online publishing is optional and happens only when you choose to publish a live card.
1. Information stored on your device
NFCLink can store profiles, vCards, contact details, social links, templates, photos, cover images, NFC history, QR content, appearance settings and preferences locally on your device. This local data is used to create, preview, export, share, read and write NFC content.
We do not automatically upload local profiles, scan your address book, collect precise location, or run advertising or analytics SDKs. Android backup is disabled for the app.
2. Optional live-card publishing
When you deliberately tap Publish Live Card or Update Live Card, NFCLink sends the fields you selected over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the Foxgent live-card service. Depending on your card, this can include your name, job title, company, department, phone numbers, email addresses, website, postal address, biography, business category, services, testimonials, booking link, social-media links, profile photo, cover photo, template choice and accent colour.
Publishing is optional. These details are used only to provide the public live-card feature. Anyone who has the live-card URL may view the published information, so publish only information you want to make public. We do not sell this data or share it with advertising partners.
3. NFC, QR, vCard and sharing
NFCLink reads and writes NFC tags only when you start an NFC action and bring a compatible tag close to the phone. QR codes, vCard files, Android share actions and contact-save actions are initiated by you. Information sent to another app or device through those actions is governed by the receiving service's privacy practices.
4. Purchases
NFCLink PRO purchases in the Google Play version are processed by Google Play Billing. NFCLink receives purchase-entitlement status but does not receive or store your card number, bank account, UPI PIN or other payment credentials.
5. Retention and security
Local data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Published live-card data is retained while the card is active or until deletion is requested. We use HTTPS for data sent between the app and the live-card service and limit use of published information to operating this feature.

6. Delete your information
You can delete local profiles and history from inside NFCLink. To delete a published live card and its hosted photos, email enquiry@foxgent.com with the live-card URL. We may ask you to confirm information needed to identify the card. Verified deletion requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Children
NFCLink is intended for business and professional use by adults and is not directed to children. The Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and over.
8. Changes and contact
